For our “Wall of Hope” at the JDRF office – You Motivate Us Every Day!

We’ve been in our new offices for almost a year now, and the walls need some personality!  We’re creating a Wall of Hope in our new Family Training and Conference Room, generously sponsored by Enterprise Leasing.Send in any photo of your child/spouse/loved one who has type 1, to be a daily inspiration for our staff and volunteers.

Playing football – trick or treating – testing blood sugar—smiling for the camera—holding a new baby – riding a bike – singing – swimming – playing soccer – with a new puppy – Christmas morning – Bar mitzvah – first day of school – eating a snack — whatever they are doing, we want to see them!

Any size photo from 3 x 5” to 8 x 10” ; photos can not be returned.  Please include, on back, person’s name, age, and age at diagnosis. Send photos to the office, JDRF, 50 Crestwood Executive Center, Suite 401, St. Louis, MO  63126, or bring them to the retreat and hand them in at registration.  Questions? JDRF Announces the Legacy Challenge

January 13th, 2010 · News

(a unique opportunity for you to support diabetes research tomorrow AND today)

How the Legacy Challenge works: When you make a promise to support JDRF tomorrow by including JDRF in your estate plans – a Legacy Challenge sponsor will make a $1000 cash donation in your honor to fund current research toward a cure.

A limited-time opportunity: We want you to become part of JDRF Legacy Challenge.  But don’t delay. To be eligible for the $1000 cash donation in your honor, you must make an estate plan commitment before May 2010.  AND send us a statement that JDRF has been included in your estate plans whether it is for a few outright dollars, a percentage of your total estate or…it qualifies.

If you have already included JDRF in your plans but have not yet told us, your gift also qualifies for the Legacy Challenge.  This is a national program and our chapter could be the one that receives the most immediate cash from the Challenge!  Let’s go for it. For questions, contact Marie Davis at mdavis@jdrf.org.
