JDRF Launches Social Networking Site for Young Adults with Type 1 Diabetes

New York, NY, November 14, 2008 — In an effort to address the unique needs of a population transitioning from adolescence to adulthood, JDRF is launching a social networking web site geared toward teens and young adults living with type 1 diabetes. “Juvenation” will serve as an interactive portal for youths, 15-19, with type 1 diabetes, to connect with their peers and receive relevant information and advice on managing their disease.
