What is PJ’s for the Cure?

October 13th, 2009 · No Comments · Merchandise & Supplies

Komar, the largest pajama manufacturer in the U.S., is launching PJs For The Cure November 2, 2009, to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Komar has designed women’s and kid’s pajama sets to raise money to help find a cure for type I diabetes (juvenile diabetes). The web site, http://www.pjsforthecure.org/, also goes live November 2, 2009, coinciding with the start of National Diabetes Month. The program is unique in that Komar is donating 100% of all the sales to JDRF to fund further research for a cure for this chronic disease that predominately strikes in childhood. The goal is to raise $1 million for JDRF by selling comfy cotton pajamas, available just in time for holiday giving. They are the perfect feel good gift!
